SVP, Mobile Business Unit
Gary Hicok is senior vice president of the mobile business unit at NVIDIA. The centerpiece of the business is the NVIDIA Tegra mobile processer, which is used to power the next generation of mobile devices as well as in-car safety and infotainment systems.
Prior to his appointment to this role in 2010, Hicok served as senior vice president of the core logic business unit. He has also held a variety of management roles at NVIDIA since joining the company in 1999, with responsibilities focused on console gaming and chipset engineering.
Previously, Hicok spent more than two decades at a handful computer technology companies, including Evans and Sutherland, VLSI Technology and Cirrus Logic, serving in a range of ASIC, architecture, marketing and system engineering roles.
He has authored 32 issued patents and holds a BSEE degree from Arizona State University.
